Interview Date– 27th February.

Interview Timing– 9:30AM-11:30AM

The job location is Chennai.

Job Description- Automotive Interior and Exterior Plastics.

Interior trims

Skills required

• Experience working with Windows operating system as well as Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
• Experience with CATIA V5 (preferred).
• Good Understanding of Component & System Level GD & T, Stackup Analysis.
• Understanding of Component Releasing, Change Control and Data management is desired.
• Understanding of DFMEA, (Lessons Learned documents).
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.

Experience required

• Minimum 5+ years of plastic part design, preference for automotive engineering experience (CAD design, Product Engineering, and Change Management).
• 5 to 10 years experience in Automotive Pillar Trims, Sun visors, Headliner, Floor carpet, Trunk trims & Spare Wheel Spacer
• Experience in tooling plastic components and processes is strongly preferred.
• Technical experience relating to design/diagnostics of mechanical systems preferably in the automotive industry.

Exterior Trim

Skills required

• Experience designing parts using injection moulding, thermoforming, or compression moulding techniques utilizing a variety of material
• Automotive engineering experience of working on Exterior components, using CATIA V5 / V6.
• Expertise with the latest manufacturing technologies and execution to achieve systems requirements and world-class craftsmanship/performance targets.
• Strong working knowledge of Design for Manufacturing, including knowledge of GD&T.

Experience required

• Minimum 5+ years of plastic part design, preference for automotive engineering experience (CAD design, Product Engineering, and Change Management).
• 5 to 10 years experience in Automotive Bumpers, Roof Rails, Sill & Wheel Arch Claddings
• Experience in tooling plastic components and processes is strongly preferred.
• Technical experience relating to design/diagnostics of mechanical systems preferably in the automotive industry.
